This page sets out the Terms and Conditions on which we sell any of the products listed on our website (the Products) chinaporcelain.co.uk (our site).

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE CAREFULLY BEFORE PLACING YOUR ORDER AND RETAIN A COPY OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND YOUR ORDER FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

chinaporcelain.co.uk is a site operated by China Porcelain Limited (we, our, us). We are registered in England and Wales under company number 09302786.

Formation of the Contract

​

a) Consumers

​

No contract exists between You and Us for the sale of any goods until We have received and accepted Your order and sent You written confirmation confirming Your order to the address or email address You have given. Once We have confirmed Your order, there is a binding legal contract between us (the "Contract"). Any goods on the same order which We have not confirmed do not form part of that Contract. We may deliver goods in instalments. The Contract is subject to the rights of cancellation.

b) Business Customers

​

If You are placing an order in the course of a business ("Business Customer") We may refuse to accept Your order or terminate the Contract for the goods the subject of that order by notice in writing to You and without liability.

Your Status

​

By placing an order on our site you warrant that:

  • you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;

  • you are at least 18 years old;

  • you are resident in and require delivery to  the locations within Great Britain; and

  • you are accessing our site from within Great Britain

Availability 

​

All items are subject to stock availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if, for any reason, the Products you have ordered are not available. Please note that, on rare occasions, the stock may become unavailable after we have accepted your order. In such circumstances, we may need to cancel the contract with you. In such circumstances, if we have taken payment from your credit card or debit card we will refund the amount paid by you in full and we will thereafter have no other liability to you. However, some of our products are pre-order only, and you will be charged full or a part payment after placed order.

Delivery

​

We aim to deliver all orders within 28 days of acceptance of the order but give no guarantee of delivery within this period. If you are located in a remote area, the delivery may take a little longer. We will contact you with delivery details should we be unable to deliver within 28 days. Please see here for more information on delivery areas. Please note that we may deliver your order in stages. Although we will make every reasonable effort to ensure your Products are delivered within the timescales given above, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that they will not be affected by unforeseen issues affecting our delivery partners. Where your delivery is delayed by unforeseen circumstances we will work with our delivery partners to get your Products to you as soon as possible. We do not refund delivery charges (if any) in such circumstances.

Payments

 

We accept payment by credit card, debit card and Paypal on this site. Cards accepted are Mastercard, Visa, Visa Debit/Delta, and Visa Electron.

On Credit and Debit card payments we do not process payment for orders until we have the stock and the order is released for our warehouse to despatch to you. On Paypal orders payment is taken at point of order.  We reserve the right not to accept your order at our own discretion.

If you do not wish to send your details over the web for any reason, you can ring us on +44(0)333 303 1353 and we will be happy to take your order by phone. Alternatively, you can email us at info@chinapocelain.co.uk with your phone number and we will call you back.

Cancellation and Returns

 

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods. You must notify us within 14 days by email to info@chinaporcelain.co.uk or by telephone on +44(0)333 303 1353. We will then advise you on how to return the goods in a fast and safe way. Please keep the goods unused and returned to us with the original packaging.

If you wish to return goods then you will be required to pay the return delivery charges, as we will only refund the original payment for the goods and the associated delivery charge. Your refund will be processed as soon as possible and within 15 days of the order cancellation at the latest.

We reserve the right to cancel an order for any reason, upon which the customer will receive a full refund. 

If you do cancel your order but do not return the goods, we may arrange to collect them from you at your cost.

These conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a UK consumer.

Please note, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of product images used the website.

All product images are for illustrative purposes only.

If you feel the product you have received does not match that of the photo or description used on the website, please contact our customer service team in the first instance.

Complaints

 

If you have a complaint, please contact us at info@chinaporcelain.co.uk. Alternatively, you can call us at. We will do our best to resolve your query as speedily as possible, and our promise is that we will normally take no more than 21 calendar days to respond fully to your issue.

We monitor our complaints procedures to ensure that they are fair and effective.

Law and Jurisdiction


Contracts for the purchase of Products through our site are governed by English law. Any dispute arising from, or related to, such Contracts shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. However, if you are a resident of Scotland, you may bring proceedings in Scotland.
